NINE O’CLOCK: President Klaus Iohannis is topping the Romanians’ confidence ranking, followed by Governor of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) Mugur Isarescu, Romania’s ambassador to the US George Maior and Prime Minister Victor Ponta, according to findings of an INSCOP – ADEVARUL barometer commissioned by Adevarul daily and conducted by INSCOP. According to the poll, 58.6 percent of the respondents said they have a great deal and quite a lot of confidence in President Iohannis (slightly down from 61.6 percent in July).
