ROMANIA INSIDER: A recent INSCOP survey reveals that most Romanians, namely 81.6%, consider freedom the main gain of the post-revolutionary society, after 25 years of democracy. Over 22% of respondents believe there is more justice in Romania now, 25 years after the fall of the communist regime, but a higher figure – 68%, doesn’t agree with this statement. More than 31% of Romanians agree with the idea that living in Romania is better now, than before the 1989 revolution, while 60.5% don’t agree with this statement. Similarly, 36.5% of respondents say that people are working more now, while over 56% believe the opposite.
