ROMANIA INSIDER: Most Romanians believe that Romania should turn towards the West (NATO, European Union) in terms of political and military alliances. A recent survey conducted by INSCOP reveals that 86.1% of Romanians believe that Romania should turn to the West and only 5.2% think that the East (Russia) would be a better direction. Almost 90% of the mature population (those aged between 31 and 50) support the idea that the West is a good direction for Romania.
